Who is Mrs. Lee?
My name is Julia Lee Hwang, but I go by Mrs. Lee. I have lived in the Glendale/La Canada area for all of my life. I graduated from LCHS many years ago. I went to CSUN for my Bachelor's and Pepperdine University for my Master's degree.
My husband, Dave, and I have been married for almost 18 years. We have a fourteen year old daughter named Ella. She is a freshman at LCHS.
My family and I live in La Canada. I love being so close to my family, friends, and work. I'm not the best cook, so we dine out pretty often...so don't be too surprised if you run into me around town! ;)
For free time, I like to read books, catch up on my celebrity gossip, or watch shows on Netflix when I'm at home. I also love shopping and getting my nails done!!
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I taught 4th grade at Palm Crest for 15 years . This is my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade!! I have always wanted to move down to 3rd and when the opportunity came, so I jumped on it! I am excited to teach a new group of students and feel I will prepare these kids to be ready for 4th grade!
I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year. I know it will be a great year!
